Yes, I've been doing a lot of more thinking about the crazy world of late. I find my way by trying to honor my artful muse and being very grateful for where I sit, in so many regards. I think I put a lot of personal symbolism in this piece, but please feel free to interpret your own story, here. I used one stencil in 4 different positions, one using a gel plate and the others were sponged. Stamping, fussy cutting, Stickles, washi tape and a candy wrapper all contribute to the challenge. I mounted this onto a square envelope the was tucked into another one, so there are pockets inside to perhaps add more thoughts.

For me this brought back memories of the old cast-iron bath in the house I grew up in...sitting on the edge reading while the water ran. How cold the iron felt when you first got in and list down. And the way the colour from old cloth-bound hardback books would bleed into my hands from the moisture in the air. I like the candy wrapper!

I'm digging on that plunger, available to unplug the @#$% that might get clogged along the way when someone flushes products other than toilet paper (during our strange time of TP hoarding). Sometimes brains get plugged, too! Love your work, dear one.
